Join Mayor Paula Dierenfeld for the Mayor's Bike Ride, a fun ride on Johnston's trails on Saturday, May 15. Interested participants can begin gathering at 11:30 a.m. in the parking lot just east of City Hall. Bicycle riders will depart around noon after the unveiling of UpDown. The ride begins at City Hall, located at 6221 Merle Hay Road and will end at the large shelter at Terra Park. Free lunch will be served from Hy-Vee for those participating in the ride. The CIty of Johnston's Farmers Market will kick off on May 25th and run through October 12. Come out and enjoy fresh produce, live music, baked goods, crafts, food trucks and more. The market runs from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays. Proceeds from the Farmers Market benefit the Johnston residential tree program.

The candidates are Bryan Burkhardt, Jim Gorsche, Adam Haar and Brei Johnson.

• Learn what they most want to accomplish
The forum will be held virtually via Zoom on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. (CST).
