Due to the coronavirus, the residential tree program is being moved online. Trees are $30 each and submissions can either be made online using the link below or by filling out the form and emailing to parks@cityofjohnston.com.
Residents can purchase one tree at a reduced price of $30 trough April 14.
Payment will need to be made in one of two ways.
#1: Mail a check to City of Johnston Residential Tree Program, PO Box 410, Johnston, IA 50131
#2: Pay via credit card by calling Johnston Parks Department at 515-727-8091
Trees will be available for pickup at Crown Point Community Center, located at 6300 Pioneer Parkway on Saturday, May 2 from 9 to 11 a.m.
Property owners are allowed to purchase one tree, but please list your top three tree choices when filling out the form online or the PDF form, which can then be emailed.
Residents who have pre-ordered a tree will be required to show their receipt as proof of payment. Any trees not picked up or sold during the allotted time will be considered a donation to the city’s tree-planting program.
