The City of Johnston is selling trees to residents at a reduced price of $30 per tree. A pre-sale of trees begins on Tuesday, April 14 at 8 a.m. at Johnston City Hall, located at 6221 Merle Hay Road. Trees will be available for pickup at Crown Point Community Center, located at 6300 Pioneer Parkway on Saturday, May 2 from 9 to 11 a.m.
Property owners are allowed to purchase one tree and are encouraged to purchase their tree during the April 14 sale, as the supply is limited. Residents who have pre-ordered a tree will be required to show their receipt as proof of payment. Any trees not picked up or sold during the allotted time will be considered a donation to the city’s tree-planting program.
