IowaDogJog_Logo_SMALL

The Iowa Dog Jog is the largest dog-friendly event in the State of Iowa. This event is the primary fundraiser for the Animal Rescue League of Iowa and encourages athletes to fundraise throughout their training. The event will have two distances, a 4K (2 mile) and 2K (1 mile). Following the event there will be a festival atmosphere on the great lawn with a secure "dog park" made from 6-foot fencing. All animals outside this area will be required to be on a 6-foot or shorter leash.

To ensure the safety of the dogs and their owners, areas of Pioneer Parkway will be closed. Corporate Drive will have access from the North entrance and Columbine Drive will have access from the East entrance. The hours for closure are 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. City staff will be in each of these locations assisting people who may need access.
