All City of Johnston buildings, including the Johnston Public Library, will be closed Monday, Sept. 3 in observance of Labor Day. There will be no garbage, recycling or yard waste collection on Labor Day. Residents living west of NW 86th Street will have collection on Tuesday, Sept. 4 and those living east of NW 86th Street will have colelction on Wednesday, Sept. 5.
