[ARCHIVED] SIGN UP FOR THE MAYOR'S RUN FOR THE TRAILS 5K

Mayor's Run for the Trails 5K

The Mayor's Run for the Trails 5K has moved up this year and will be held Saturday, August 25 at Terra Park, located at 6300 Pioneer Parkway. To ensure runners have an accurate timing, we will have chip timing through True Time Racing Services. Register by visiting www.cityofjohnston.com/Mayors5KRun

The money raised will support the 38 miles of trails in Johnston. Registration fee includes a short-sleeve (performance blend) shirt, post-race refreshments and raffles prizes. If you register after August 10, your shirt size is not guaranteed. We will do our best to increase shirt sizes on quantities before the order is placed to accommodate runners.

Packet pick up and late registration will be held on Friday, August 24 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Heartland Soles, 5525 Merle Hay Rd., in Johnston or on race morning from 6:30-7:30 a.m.

Race-day registration is available for $35, but t-shirt size is not guaranteed.

1,000-meter fun run around the lake will begin at 8:00 am. The 5K run/walk will begin at 8:15 a.m. and is chip timed. The 1,000 meter fun run participants will receive medals once they cross the finish line. Awards will follow immediately after the run.
