The 5th annual Kites on the Green is set to take place on Saturday, May 5 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Johnston Commons, the grassy area outside of the Johnston Public Library. The FREE, family-friendly event is fun for all ages and abilities! 


The kite festival will feature giant show kite displays, celebrity bol races, free kite building, live kids’ music by Grammy Award Winning Musician Justin Roberts, story-time by IPTV’s Dan Wardell, face painting, kite battles and delicious food to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.
