[ARCHIVED] JOHNSTON POLICE WILL HOLD PRESS CONFERENCE AT 10:30 AM

Around 8 p.m. on the evening of October 2, individual students and parents received anonymous messages, threatening the safety and security of students in the Johnston Community School District. Throughout the evening and early morning hours, the Johnston Police Department has worked to ensure the safety of our community.

We are asking the community to help us with this by sending information, if they received a direct text message from 818-275-6848. We ask that the message be screenshot and emailed to johnstonpolice77@gmail.com along with your phone number.


The Johnston Police Department is holding a press conference at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 3 at the Public Safety Building, located at 6373 Merle Hay Road in Johnston.
