Mayor's run for the tails

Join us for the Mayor’s Run for the Trails 5K and 1-mile youth run on Saturday, Oct. 21. The 5K run will begin at Crown Point, 6300 Pioneer Parkway at 8 a.m. It winds through Terra Park and will finish at the Amphitheater. The youth run will begin at 9 a.m. Both races will be timed. Registration fee includes a long sleeve shirt (Performance blend), post-race refreshments and raffle prizes. All proceeds benefit Johnston’s recreational trails.

The online registration is now closed, but there are still opportunities to register.

Friday, Oct. 20: Heartland Soles, 5525 Merle Hay Road from 5 to 7 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 21: Terra Park, 6300 Pioneer Parkway from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. Race day registration is available for $35, but shirt size is not guaranteed.

Packet pick-up will be at Hearland Soles on Friday, Oct. 20 from 5 to 7 p.m.
