There is one City Council seat up for election in June. Candidate paperwork was due to the Polk County Election Office on Friday, April 30, by 5:00 p.m. After an official review, four individuals successfully submitted their paperwork. The nominees who will be on the primary ballot (listed in alphabetical order) are as follows:
- Bryan Burkhardt
- Jim Gorsche
- Adam Haar
- Brei Johnson
The Johnston Economic Development Corporation hosted a candidate forum on Wednesday, May 19. If you were unable to attend, you can watch it here.
