Beggars' Night in Johnston

The City of Johnston's Beggars' Night is Monday, Oct. 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. We ask that residents who are participating and handing out treats light up their front door area, indicating "beggars" are welcome.
A few safety tips and things to be mindful of:
Be sure the sidewalk or path to the door is clear of debris or plants that might impair walking.
Please keep pets inside.
Do not give homemade or unwrapped treats to children.
Drivers are urged to use extra caution during this annual event.
