Daylight savings time is Sunday, March 13th, and the members of JGMFD would like to remind you to change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms when you change your clocks!

JGMFD Assists Polk City at Structure Fire

At approximately 9:21 p.m. on Monday, February 28th, E391 responded to Polk City for a second alarm structure fire in the 1000 block of Lost Lake Dr. Upon arrival the fire had been knocked down and E391 assisted with finding hidden fires and extinguishing hot spots. E391 returned to service after approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.
