October is National Community Planning Month. This month recognizes City staff and community members who volunteer their time on boards and commissions to make Johnston a community where residents can Thrive. Every Day!
Planners are an essential part in helping the city grow and develop. The City of Johnston planners work to improve the well-being of residents and businesses by ensuring the developments follow the 2040 comprehensive plan. This plan will ensure our neighborhoods are safer, prosperous and our residents have a great place to play and live.
Johnston planning staff members include Sheila Kissanga, Adam Plagge, David Wilwerding, Clayton Ender and Aaron Wolfe. Together, they have over 50 years of planning experience. This young staff ensures residents are heard and any concerns are brought forth to ensure Johnston remains a great community to live in.
