Our bills are figured from the gallons on your water meter(s). If you
know how many gallons of water you used before you moved to Johnston
you can get an idea of what your water bill will be here. If you were
billed by the cubic feet you can still figure it. Multiply the cubic
feet by 7.4805 ; this calculation will give you the number of gallons used.
Residential (Within City of Johnston Corporate Limits)
- 1,000 gals. (1 month minimum) $4.25 plus $.26 tax 1 Month.
- 1,001 gals. and over will be charged $3.25 per 1,000 gals. plus
tax.
Commercial (Within City of Johnston Corporate Limits)
- 1,000 gals. (1 month minimum) $4.25 plus $.26 tax 1 Month.
- 1,001 gals. and over will be charged $3.25 per 1,000 gals. plus
tax.
Outside City of Johnston Corporate Limits
Water customers outside the City of Johnston corporate limits are an additional 50 percent rate for service.
- 1,000 gals. (1 month minimum) $6.38 plus $0.38 tax 1 Month.
- 1,001 gals. and over will be charged $4.88 per 1,000 gals. plus tax.
