Police Department

The Johnston Police Department strives to serve the Johnston community through community-based policing events such as Code 411, child safety seat inspections, Safety Town, and KID PIX.

The department seeks ways to serve Johnston's expanding population effectively. By taking a proactive approach to potential crime, the department has added officers and keeps current on training to provide the best services to the community. The department includes eighteen officers, three sergeants, a lieutenant, the Chief of Police, an administrative assistant, and a records clerk. Each individual in the department is committed to the highest policing standards for themselves and the community.
