The Shredder company will be in the Johnston Public Library parking lot, located at 6700 Merle Hay Road on Saturday, April 28 from 9 a.m. to noon for on-site document destruction. Please limit material to be shredded to 3 boxes or containers per household that need not be returned. No registration is necessary. This event is sponsored by AARP in conjunction with Money Smart Week.

Drug Take-Back Day 2018-04-28T10:00:00The Johnston Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration want to help make homes safe by destroying all expired or unused prescription drugs and over-the-counter medications during a community Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, April 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Johnston Public Safety Building, located at 6373 Merle Hay Road.
Any solid dosage form of pharmaceutical products such as tablets, capsules and patches will be accepted. Liquids, needles, sharps, inhalers, syringes, IV solutions and other bio-hazard materials will not be accepted.
