The 2021 tree sale will begin online on Tuesday, Apr. 6 at 8 a.m. Residents can purchase one tree at a reduced price of $30. Once a tree is sold out, it will be removed as an option. The tree heights do vary depending upon the species. Most trees are 8-10 feet tall, ornamentals are around 6 feet, and evergreens are 4-5 feet. We thank the Johnston Lion's Club and Johnston Farmers Market for their help in funding this tree program.
The trees are SOLD OUT. Thank you for your orders this morning.
Payment will need to be made in one of two ways.
- #1: Mail a check to City of Johnston Residential Tree Program, PO Box 410, Johnston, IA 50131
- #2: Pay via credit card by calling Johnston Parks Department at (515) 727-8091
Trees will be available for pickup at Crown Point Community Center, located at 6300 Pioneer Parkway on Saturday, May 1 from 8 to 10 a.m. Property owners are allowed to purchase one tree, but please list your top three tree choices when filling out the form online.
Residents who have pre-ordered a tree will be required to show their receipt as proof of payment. Any trees not picked up or sold during the allotted time will be considered a donation to the city’s tree-planting program.
