The 2020 election will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020. Polls will be open from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. To find your polling place, visit the Iowa Secretary of State’s website.

If voters requested an absentee ballot, it must be received in the county auditor’s office by 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3, to be counted. Absentee ballots received after the polls close on election day must be postmarked by the Monday before election day or earlier and received in the county auditor’s office no later than noon on the Monday following the election.

Below are the voting precincts in Johnston:

  • Precincts 1 and 2: Johnston City Hall (new building)
  • Precinct 3: Crown Point Community Center
  • Precincts 4 and 5: Stoney Creek Inn
  • Precinct 6: Johnston Public Library
