STABILIZATION PROJECT CLOSES TRAIL

Timberwood Drive Trail Stabilization_Thumbnail

A stream stabilization project is about to begin that will close the trail located north of Timberwood Drive between Long Meadow Drive and NW 93rd Street beginning May 10 through the end of June. During this time, pedestrian access will be maintained and detoured between Long Meadow Drive and NW 93rd Street via the sidewalk along Timberwood Drive. Initial construction activities will include clearing and grubbing of the trees, installation of rip rap in and adjacent to the creek channel, and will conclude with the replacement of a portion of the trail. We encourage you to visit our projects page for updates and information – www.cityofjohnston.com/projects.
