The 2023 tree sale will begin online on Tuesday, April 11, at 8:00 a.m. Residents can purchase one tree at a reduced price of $50. Once a tree is sold out, it will be removed as an option. The tree heights do vary depending on the species. Click here to order a tree online (the link will not be live until April 11 at 8:00 a.m.
Payment will need to be made in one of two ways.
- #1: Mail a check to the City of Johnston Residential Tree Program, PO Box 410, Johnston, IA 50131
- #2: Pay via credit card by calling Johnston Parks Department at (515) 727-8091
Trees will be available for pickup at Crown Point Community Center, 6300 Pioneer Parkway, on Saturday, May 6, from 8 to 10 a.m. Property owners can purchase one tree, but please list your top three choices when filling out the form online.
Residents who have pre-ordered a tree will be required to show their receipt as proof of payment. Any trees not picked up or sold during the allotted time will be considered a donation to the city’s tree-planting program.
