The City of Johnston plans to reactivate its Advisory Board for programming specific to individuals ages 60 and up. We are holding a public meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 16, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Johnston City Hall, 6221 Merle Hay Rd. A professional moderator will facilitate this meeting to understand the breadth of needs and desires of this age group for activities, events, services, educational programming, and more. We want to hear from many voices as we reactivate this Advisory Board to serve all interests. This is an open, public meeting and all are welcome; no registration is required. Face coverings are encouraged, but will not be required at City Hall. We will also be seeking applications for Johnston residents to serve on this Advisory Board beginning in 2022.
A virtual option to attend the meeting is also available via zoom, or by calling in.
