Neighborhood Picnics

Johnston neighborhoods are an important part of our city as they provide security and a friendly place for residents to call home. To help neighborhoods celebrate our 50th anniversary, four neighborhood picnics are being held in city parks throughout the summer.  These will provide an opportunity for neighbors to get to know each other, enjoy outdoor games and activities while taking advantage of free dinner provided by Hy-Vee.

The activities include bag toss, connect four and a bounce house for the kids to enjoy.
