Tree Board

Purpose


The Tree Board consists of seven members, each serving a four-year term. This board plans and recommends the placement of trees within our community.

The primary duties of the Board include:
  • Act as volunteers for tree related activities including the residential tree sale and invasive species clean-ups
  • Establishing guidelines for tree care, preservation, trimming, planting, replanting, removal or disposal of trees
  • Provide recommendations on landscape plantings within street rights-of-way, parks and public spaces to preserve and enhance the aesthetics of our community
  • Report to Council on the guidelines recommended
The Tree Board meets the fourth Tuesday of every other month at 5:30 pm.
