Watershed Assessment and Stormwater Management Plan Accepted

The City of Johnston, with the assistance of Nilles Associates, Inc., Ankeny, Iowa, has completed a city-wide watershed assessment, which includes Beaver Creek, North Walnut Creek, Des Moines River and their tributaries. The city council has approved the plan.

Comprehensive Plan Update

The City of Johnston has contracted with Hoisington Koegler Group, Inc. to update the City of Johnston Comprehensive Plan. This year-long process will include evaluation of city services, housing, transportation and more. Public input is requested.
